The IECB Certified Data Protection Officer training course will help you acquire the knowledge and skills to serve as a Data Protection Officer (DPO) so as to help organizations ensure compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requirements.

After attending this course, you will be able to fulfil the role of the DPO and claim competence to inform, advise, and monitor compliance with the GDPR, as well as form suitable communications with data subjects and the supervisory authority.

You can also sit for the exam, and gain the “IECB Certified Data Protection Officer” credential, which validates that you have the professional capabilities and practical knowledge to adequately advise either a controller and/or processor on GDPR compliance.

• Day 4: Monitoring and maintenance of the GDPR compliance programme, and the certification exam

Assessment 

• All candidates at official training courses are tested throughout their course with quizzes and exercises, in combination with a final exam held on the last day of the course.  Both elements are a part of the overall score. For CDPO, the final exam constitutes a 12 question essay type which should be completed within 180 minutes. A passing score is achieved at 70%.
